Pre-Purchase Inspection
Know what you are buying before you buy a used vehicle.
Buying a used vehicle, even from a dealer, is hard to do with total confidence. We inspect it from top to bottom before you hand over the money, so you know about any problems, what they'll cost to fix and whether the price is fair.
Book this if
- You're about to buy a used vehicle, from a dealer or a private seller
- The vehicle has no service records, or you're not sure about its history
What's included
- A road test
- An inspection of the engine, transmission, brakes, steering, suspension and tires
- A look underneath for leaks, rust and signs of past collision damage
- A computer scan for stored trouble codes
- A summary of what we found, with estimates for anything that needs fixing
Questions
The seller won't let me bring it in. Should I worry?
We'd treat it as a warning sign. A seller with nothing to hide usually agrees to an inspection.
Can you inspect a vehicle that isn't mine yet?
Yes. Arrange a time with the seller and bring the vehicle in together, or have the seller drop it off.
