A spot under your vehicle is worth checking. Leaks only get worse, and some, like brake fluid or coolant, can leave you stranded or make the vehicle unsafe. We find where it's coming from and fix it.

Book this if

  • There are spots or a puddle under your parked vehicle
  • You're topping up oil, coolant or another fluid more often than usual
  • You smell burning oil, or something sweet, from the engine
  • A low-fluid warning light comes on

What's included

  • Finding the source of the leak
  • Oil leaks: gaskets, seals and oil pans
  • Coolant leaks: hoses, radiators and water pumps
  • Transmission, power steering and brake fluid leaks

Good to know

  • Note the colour of the fluid and roughly where it drips. It helps us find the leak faster.
  • Photos help too: text them to the shop at (780) 882-9559.

Questions

What colour is the fluid?

Brown or black is usually engine oil. Green, orange or pink with a sweet smell is coolant. Red is usually transmission or power steering fluid. Clear and oily near a wheel can be brake fluid: don't drive, call us. Clear water under the front is normally just condensation from the A/C.
